Ecoboost

The Ford EcoBoost Create Your Own Adventure campaign is the first to run the same ad creative across both the MSN Homepage and Windows 8 Ad in App targeted to car purchase intenders.  The ad  features a quiz to start, where users will answer questions that will decide which of 4 adventures using which vehicle they will embark on within the ad. The ad then brings the user to 3 different stops along the way of their adventure, with the various vehicle features highlighted, with an overall mileage count to focus on the MPG benefits of EcoBoost technology.

Role

I was the PM on this project, and worked alongside sales and creative to define features of this custom advertisement. I engaged a third-party development vendor to build and publish the ad in a 4-week development window.

Success Metrics

  • Ford's positive experience and high engagement rate put them in a position to consider expanding their advertising dollars with Microsoft. They are exploring new innovation opportunities with Microsoft for a holiday campaign.
